SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
The group made a round of introductions.
OFFICER’S REPORTS
DCM – Tom reported that he met with Pam and Scot to talk about a potential District 20 event. They proposed
a 4-part workshop series tentatively titled “Loving the Steps” beginning on February 14th.
NEW BUSINESS
Herb reminded the group that the Area 11 Convention is being held next weekend September 27-28. Register
at ct-aa.org
Fred described current thought and progress toward a printed meeting booklet.
Nick noted that he is Co-Chair for the Clinton Thanksgiving Alcathon, and is soliciting donations.
TREASURER’S REPORT:
Month of September 2025:
Current Account Balance $6,116.15
YTD contributions $2,321.54
Disbursements $91.80 for service manuals and pamphlets
August Deposit $363.52 comprised of $213.56 from groups, $150 from book sales
The group voted and the report was accepted.
A donation of $150 to the Clinton Thanksgiving Alcathon was approved.
Trish presented a draft annual budget for 2026 for review and discussion.
RECORDING SECRETARY – the minutes from the August meeting were reviewed and approved with
corrections. There is a group contact list circulating for updates and corrections.
STANDING COMMITTEE REPORTS
EVENTS (DCM):

REGISTRAR – No report
PI REP – No report
SCHEDULES – Herb passed out a sample bookmark produced by Intergroup designed to serve as direction to
the Area 11 web site with space on the reverse for phone numbers, to be used as a welcome for new
members. There was discussion regarding printing of books or sending money to Intergroup for booklet
printing. There was a motion to print bookmarks for District 20 at a cost of $150, which passed. Bob requests
that GSRs go back to groups, inform them that the bookmarks and obtain feedback.
ANSWERING SERVICE – Needs a new chair.
CORRECTIONS REP – No report.
GRAPEVINE REP – No report (position unfilled/combine with literature)
WEB COMMITTEE – No report
Open positions:
CPC (Cooperation with the Professional Community) – Amelia expressed interest in more information about
the position.
PI (Public information) – Geoff can explain the position to anyone interested.
